Ganadora del Royal Overseas League Piano Competition en 2005, la pianista británica Nicola Eimer está considerada hoy día como un valor en alza entre los pianistas de su generación. Ha dado recitales en St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Purcell Room y el Barbican, así como en el Wigmore Hall de Londres, donde interpretó el Concierto nº1 de Shostakovich con la Royal Academy Soloist’s Ensemble dirigida por Clio Gould. También ha tocado con prestigiosas orquestas como City of London Sinfonia, English Sinfonia, European Union Chamber Orchestra y Orchestra of the Swan.

Apasionada de la música de cámara, Nicola es miembro fundador del Eimer Piano Trio, formado en 1997. En 2002 el trío ganó el premio de música de cámara del Royal Over-seas League Competition y el Premio Barenreiter de la ARD Competition de Múnich. Nicola también da recitales con otros músicos y ensembles como Remus Azoitei, Alison Balsom, Thomas Carroll, Maurice Hasson, Guy Johnston, Gemma Rosefield, el Carducci Quartet y London Concertante. Ha tocado en Europa, América, Australia y Japón y en Mayo de 2004 fué invitada a dar el concierto de clausura del Festival Saint-Saëns en el Wigmore Hall, compartiendo escenario con músicos de la talla de Steven Isserlis, Graham Johnson y Anthony Marwood.

Nicola ganó en 2003 el Dudley International Piano Competition y el John Lill Piano Competition, además de ser finalista del Young Concert Artists’ Trust de Londres y ganar el premio Tillett Trust Young Artists Platform.

Comenzó sus estudios en Londres con Danielle Salamon y después en la Royal Academy of Music con Christopher Elton, donde se graduó como Artista Destacado, la más alta distinción posible. Obtuvo becas de varias entidades de prestigio, como el Countess of Munster Musical Trust y el Delphine de Martelly Trust. En 2001 obtuvo su licenciatura en la Juilliard School of Music de Nueva York con Joseph Kalichstein. Recientemente ha sido propuesta como candidata a ser Miembro Asociado de la Royal Academy of Music.
