Tras haber ganado la International Chamber Music Competition de la ciudad de Kuhmo (Finlandia), el premio especial de “Comunicación y Cultura” en la International String Quartet Competition 2005 de Burdeos (Francia), el Premio Especial del Jurado del London International String Quartet Competition 2006 y el Concert Artist Guild de Nueva York, el Carducci String Quartet es considerado en la actualidad uno de los mejores cuartetos de cuerda jóvenes del mundo.

Laureados y premiados igualmente por los mejores conservatorios de Inglaterra, cada uno de sus miembros ha estudiado además con miembros de varios de los mejores y más famosos cuartetos incluyendo el Amadeus, Alberni, Takacs, Vanbrugh y el Chilingirian. Recientemente han estudiado con Paul Katz, del Cuarteto de Cleveland en París, formando parte del proyecto ProQuartet para jóvenes profesionales. El Carducci Quartet ha sido premiado también en la Osaka International Chamber Music Competition de Japón y en el Concurso Internacional “Charles Hennen” de Holanda.
En 1997 el cuarteto recibió la Medalla de Oro del Castagnetto-Carducci Festival en Italia, ciudad de la que tomaron el nombre “Carducci”.

Sus giras les han llevado por distintos países: Francia, España, Alemania, Grecia, Portugal, Italia, Irlanda o Bélgica, donde fueron invitados a participar como profesores en la European String Teachers Association de Bruselas. Durante varios años han sido “artistas permanentes” del Beaumont Festival en Francia.

Recientemente han creado su propio sello discográfico Carducci Classics, con el que ya han editado tres CD: cuartetos de Haydn, cuartetos de Graham Whettam y fantasía y cuartetos de Joseph Horovitz. Los Carducci también han grabado dos CD con el dúo de guitarras Katona Twins para Channel Classics.

Futuros compromisos incluyen su debut en el Carnegie Hall, su vuelta al Wigmore Hall y una gira por Japón.
